Art of Teaching

Teacher Sue Beyersdorf to present annual lecture on Nov. 14.
Join us on Monday, November 14 from 6-7 PM in the Library for the 2016 Art of Teaching Lecture presented by math teacher Sue Beyersdorf. Sue will recount the pivotal moments in her own journey to a life in Mathematics. She will also describe the guiding principles that help her create a classroom where students can vault past some of the classic obstacles to learning in math. This lecture promises to be engaging and interactive.

The Art of Teaching Lecture is an annual celebration of the craft of teaching delivered each year by a faculty member recognized for distinguished practice. Established in 2006, the Lecture is sponsored by the Administrative Fund for Teaching Excellence, an endowed fund.
