Resources for Understanding and Responding to Hate

Resources

The Center for Peace, Equity & Justice has curated a list of resources to help community members understand and respond to the rising tide of bigotry, hatred, and violence in our nation. This rising tide was made visible, in brutal relief, recently in Charlottesville. Our community grieves the loss of life in Charlottesville and the hatred that caused it. We turn to equipping ourselves with tools that will empower us and the young people we serve to pursue a more just and peaceful world.

Events

CPEJ will host in the fall several events focused on responding to hate, which will open to the wider community. One such event appears below. Please stay tuned for information about furture events.

Friday, 9/29 | 9:30 - 10:20 AM | Life Beyond Hate
During this Upper School assembly, we will explore stories of those who, once seduced by hate groups, have rejected lives of extremism in favor of peace and equality. The balcony has been reserved for parents and faculty/staff who would like to join the assembly.
