"We prepare students to engage in the world that is and to help bring about a world that ought to be."

Joining Forces

Friends helps found international relations initiative.
Friends has joined 12 other schools (eight countries) in founding an initiative to inform young people around the world about international relations “with tolerance, objectivity and broad vision.” The initiative is part of News-Decoder, a French not-for-profit. This school year, Friends students will host a webinar on December 4, 2017 with students from Jordan to discuss issues related to refugees and the mass migration and immigration challenges that the global community is facing. That event will be part of the Upper School Day of Concern event held annually at Friends. To learn more about this exciting partnership, click here.
