Student Artwork on Exhibition

Student artwork is on display on campus, as well as off-campus at the Child Mind Institute in Manhattan.
As you walk around building, please check out some of the great student artwork currently on display.

The Rosenquist gallery on the first floor has second grade pop-ups, fourth grade Indian miniature inspired acrylic paintings, and third grade self-portraits on canvas board. This show will be up for the month of April.

The first floor landing has charcoal studies from the Upper School Light, Color and Design class.

The third floor has the artwork of the seventh and eighth graders' linoleum cut prints are on display.

The fourth floor features the artwork of the fifth graders, Pop-Up Books of favorite places. Also on display on the fourth floor are the seventh and eighth grade ink observation drawings with collaged explorations of negative positive space. Finally, the fourth floor has charcoal studies from the US Light, Color, and Design class.

Off-campus, student artwork will be showcased at the Child Mind Institute in Manhattan. An
opening reception for Lower School Voices from Friends: Works by Students from Friends Seminary will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2012 from 4 to 6 pm. The Institute is located at: 445 Park Ave, New York, NY 10022. Click here for more information.
