Matt Maitland '13 was presented with a basketball in Meeting to honor his induction into 1000th point club at Friends. The 1,000th point came on a three-pointer against Lawrence Woodmere Academy on Feb. 28 during the first round of the NYSAIS State Tournament. (Friends unfortunately lost the game 59-57.)

Matt finished his high school career with 1,002 points. He also finished third all-time in three-point shots made with 208. There were only two games in his entire three-year varsity career in which he did not make a three-point shot.
