Friends Senior to Play on Soccer All Star Team
The NYC Mayor's Cup Soccer All-Star Game selected a Friends Grade 12 student to play on the team representing independent schools on November 16 and 17 at Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn. The event will bring together the city’s best male and female high school seniors as they compete for the title of “Best in the City.”
The NYC Mayor's Cup Soccer All-Star Game selected William Berg '14 to play on the team representing independent schools on November 16 and 17 at Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn. The event will bring together the city’s best male and female high school seniors as they compete for the title of “Best in the City.”
The action kicks off on Saturday, November 16 with the PSAL girls squaring off against the CHSAA girls at 11AM, followed by the CHSAA boys taking on the independent school boys at 1PM. The championship games will take place on Sunday, November 17 starting with the Independent School girls playing the PSAL/CHSAA girls winner at 11AM. The boys championship game will showcase the PSAL boys against the CHSAA/Independent school boys winner at 1PM.
