Friends Jazz Choir Wins Third Place in National Festival

The Jazz Choir, directed by Tucker Wheatley, and two Jazz Bands, directed by Bob Rosen, performed at Berklee High School Jazz Festival this weekend. All three groups had terrific performances. The Jazz Choir took third place for their performance, and Andy '14 received an Outstanding Musicianship award for his solo.

The Berklee High School Jazz Festival is an annual festival and competition hosted by Berklee College of Music in Boston. This year, big bands, combos and vocal jazz ensembles from more than 200 schools performed throughout the day.
