Christel Johnson, Faculty

Christel Johnson is a classics teacher at Friends Seminary, where she teaches courses in Latin and Greek. Prior to joining Friends, Christel taught at the University of South Carolina. She has published papers on gender studies in antiquity as well critical theory of classical poetry. She has a BA in Classics from the University of North Carolina Asheville and a PhD and MA in Comparative Literature from the University of South Carolina.
