Friends Model UN Team Wins Award

Two students of Friends Seminary’s Model UN Team won "Best Delegate in Committee" in the North American Invitational Model United Nations in Washington DC.
Friends Model UN delegates convened February 13 through February 16 at the North American Invitational Model United Nations in Washington DC, one of the oldest UN simulations for high school students in North America and the world. Friends’ 16 students were well prepared and happy to meet other delegates from as far away as Bahrain and Wuhan, China. The students worked on resolutions for Committees at the US Supreme Court and Georgetown. Judges then evaluated debate skills and the details of the delegate's resolutions.

Congratulations to students Cyrus '15 and Maghnus '15 for bringing home two gavels for "Best Delegate in Committee!"
