A group of Friends students, parents, alumni, administrators, and faculty members attended the fifth annual Dalton Conference: From Diversity to Community on May 2, 2015The day-long dynamic and interactive program educated and trained attendees to broaden and improve inclusion within the racial, socioeconomic and sexually diverse communities of New York City’s independent schools. This year's theme was Race, Privilege and Community Building. "Friends Seminary student representatives' messages were thought-provoking," Leitzel Schoen, Dean of Co-Curricular Programs, said. "I'm proud of them and all our school community representatives who gave up a Saturday for this work."
