Friends Seminary, in partnership with College Visits (
www.college-visits.com), is offering a college tour to interested Sophomores and Juniors in March 2020.
College Visits' mission "is to help participants make an educated choice of where they want to spend some of the most important years of their lives." For over 25 years, College Visits has led hundreds of students on trips to campuses throughout the United States and Canada.
For any student beginning the college process, this tour will expose you to a variety of schools in terms of size (small, medium, large), location (urban, suburban, rural), type (college vs. university, public vs. private), and campus culture. The College Counselors will teach students how to make the most of campus visits—before, during and after.
The tour will run from Monday, March 23 to Thursday, March 26. We will visit nine colleges. The college tours will include:
Franklin & Marshall College |
George Washington University |
Georgetown University |
Johns Hopkins University or Goucher College |
University of Maryland |
Princeton University |
University of Richmond |
University of Virginia |
|
|
Financial assistance from Friends Seminary will be available for this trip. Students applying for financial aid need to complete the online registration including the $100 deposit by November 1. If the student does not receive adequate aid to join the trip, the enrollment deposit will be refunded in full.
Please let the College Counseling office know if you have any questions.
