"We prepare students to engage in the world that is and to help bring about a world that ought to be."
Tuition & Financial Aid

Letter from the Director

Dear Friends,

We believe a transformational education can “help bring about a world that ought to be” and to deliver on that hope, we look for vibrant, curious, engaged, diverse and passionate families who share our mission and our values.

Paramount to our mission is the commitment we make to ensure that all families, regardless of income, have an opportunity to attend Friends. Financial aid is based solely on demonstrated need, and this year over 20% of the K-12 student body received over $5.5 Million in financial support. In determining aid, we take the time to understand each family’s unique story to figure out how best to support financial need within our budget. Once students are enrolled, ancillary aid is also available for other areas of student life, including trips and school activities. Our goal is to ensure that all students have every opportunity to maximize their educational journey with us. In a world profoundly marked by inequality, we are committed to stretching our resources to support all of our families.

At Friends, you will have a team of advocates and partners eager to collaborate with you to make a Friends Seminary education a reality regardless of family income. Our office is a safe space and we encourage families to explore all we have to offer. The depth of our commitment to equity and inclusion is as old as our school, and we embrace the opportunity to build a community of diverse voices coming together to learn and grow. I look forward to welcoming you and working with you this year!
