2018 New York State College Tour

Friends Seminary, in partnership with College Visits (www.college-visits.com), is offering a college tour to interested Sophomores and Juniors in March 2018.
College Visits' mission "is to help participants make an educated choice of where they want to spend some of the most important years of their lives." For over 25 years, College Visits has led hundreds of students on trips to campuses throughout the United States and Canada.
For any student beginning the college process, this tour will expose you to a variety of schools in terms of size (small, medium, large), location (urban, suburban, rural), type (college vs. university, public vs. private), and campus culture. The College Counselors will teach students how to make the most of campus visits—before, during and after.
The tour will run from Tuesday, March 27 to Friday, March 30. Students will visit the following campuses:
Cornell University Colgate University
Bard College Hamilton College
Skidmore College SUNY Binghamton
Syracuse University Vassar College
Financial assistance from Friends Seminary will be available on a case-by-case basis for this trip, with preference being given to Juniors. Students applying for financial aid need to complete the registration form including the $100 deposit by December 1. If the student does not receive adequate aid to join the trip, the enrollment deposit will be refunded in full.
Please let the College Counseling office know if you have any questions.
