2019 New England College Tour

Friends Seminary, in partnership with College Visits (www.college-visits.com), is offering a college tour to interested Sophomores and Juniors in March 2019.

College Visits' mission "is to help participants make an educated choice of where they want to spend some of the most important years of their lives." For over 25 years, College Visits has led hundreds of students on trips to campuses throughout the United States and Canada.

For any student beginning the college process, this tour will expose you to a variety of schools in terms of size (small, medium, large), location (urban, suburban, rural), type (college vs. university, public vs. private), and campus culture. The College Counselors will teach students how to make the most of campus visits—before, during and after.

The tour will run from Monday, March 25 to Thursday, March 28. We will visit eight colleges in New England. The college tours will include:

Boston University Brandeis University
Hampshire College/Smith College U Mass-Amherst
Northeastern University Trinity College
Tufts University Yale University

Financial assistance from Friends Seminary will be available on a case-by-case basis for this trip, with preference being given to Juniors. Students applying for financial aid need to complete the online registration including the $100 deposit by November 1. If the student does not receive adequate aid to join the trip, the enrollment deposit will be refunded in full.

Please let the College Counseling office know if you have any questions.

Application Information

Interested Sophomores and Juniors should go to www.college-visits.com to complete the online registration and submit the $100 deposit by November 1. Registration will be on a first serve basis.
