Girl Up Move-a-Thon To Fund Refugee Girls Education

This community-wide service event aims to educate participants to the challenges girls face around the world in accessing an education. The event also will provide an opportunity to join student leaders from the Girl Up club for a Move-a-Thon that will use proceeds to support the education of 20 refugee girls currently living in Uganda and Ethiopia. Girls who are forced to flee their countries are often most vulnerable.  $25 is all it takes to educate a refugee girl for one year through Girl Up's work with UNHCR. The upper school Girl Up club and middle school goLEAD 7 students will help lead this event. PASC will also contribute to a medley of Move-a-Thon options. More details and registration to come. Family-friendly event.
