Ann Sullivan

Parent of Alumnae

Ann is Associate Head at Rye Country Day School in Rye, New York having served as Interim Head of Lincoln School, a Quaker School for girls, in Rhode Island and previously as Head of School of the Holy Child in Rye, NY. From 1972, Ann held several leadership positions at Friends Seminary including English Department Chair, Director of Admissions, Director of College Counseling and Director of Development. In addition to Friends, Ann serves on the Scholarship Committee of the Northeast Harbor Public Library. She has also served on the boards of the Rye Free Reading Room, the Parents League of New York, the New York Association of Independent Schools, the Headmistresses Association of the East, College of the Atlantic, and The Windward School. Ann holds a B.A. in English from Good Counsel College and an M.A. in English from New York University. She and her husband Richard, a child psychologist, have two sons, David '95 and Andrew '98 and two grandchildren, Anna and Felix.
