Fourth Graders Perform at 92nd Street Y
Grade 4 dance students performed at the 92nd Street Y as part of the 100th birthday celebration for Ann Hutchinson Guest, an accomplished authority on dance and notation. Guest paved the way for the reconstruction of several high profile ballets, helped establish multiple dance centers in New York and London, and was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship for Dance Studies. Students have been learning about and practicing the notions Guest created in Barry Blumenfeld’s classes.
