Owls Wrap Up Successful Winter Seasons
The Owls once again enjoyed a remarkable winter season with some incredible highlights from the teams. Friends would like to thank all our players and coaches, and we look forward to continued success next year! Be sure to check the calendar for the upcoming Spring season and support the Owls!

The Girls Varsity Basketball team soared through their first winning record in seven years! The team rounded out the season with a final record of 12-11 overall, led by three-time captain, Sintra ‘19, who averaged 12 PPG and Tessa ‘22 who averaged 7.3 PPG. Their incredible performance was highlighted by big wins at Spence and Hewitt. After advancing to the CIS Invitational Tournament Championship, the team ultimately lost to Grace Church.

Despite a loss to Dwight in the ACIS Championship game and a narrow defeat to Rye 56-54 in the final of the NYSAIS ‘C’ State Tournament, the Boys Varsity Basketball team fought hard and boasted a successful season overall with a final record of 21-7 and 10-2 in ACIS. The team was lead in scoring by Mike ‘19 (16.9), Evan ‘21 (15.1) and Henry ‘19 (11.4).

After a 0-5 start to the season, the Boys JV Basketball team rebounded in stunning fashion to win 12 of their last 13 games. They closed the season with a final record of 12-6. Their triumph was hallmarked by an exciting victory against Berkeley Carroll, where the team won the ACIS championship.

The Swim team clinched a number of impressive finishes in the NYSAIS Championship Meet. Felicity ‘20 finished 4th in the 100m breastroke and earned a PR in the 200 freestyle (2:11.66). Drew ‘21 finished 8th in the 50m freestyle and earned a PR of 23.86. Ashley ‘22, Sophie ‘19, Gabby ‘20 and Felicity ‘20 also PR’d in the 200m freestyle. Not to be outdone, Drew ‘21, Joseph ‘20, Luca ‘20 and Gabe ‘21 smashed their PR in the 200m freestyle.

The Indoor Track team enjoyed another successful season with Aqib ‘19 qualifying for the long jump at the NYSAIS meet. The 4x200 Boys Relay team, which included Sulaiman ‘19, Will ‘20, Aqib ‘19 and Alexander ‘20, also qualified for the NYSAIS meet.

In Middle School sports, the Boys Basketball team finished the season with an impressive 12-3 record and came in third place in the Grace Church tournament. They were lead by team captains Lucas ‘23, Max ‘23 and Thomas ‘23. The Girls Middle School Basketball team also proudly ended their season with a winning record of 8-4.
