College of the Atlantic President Speaks to Environmental Science Students

On January 13, Darren Collins, President of the College of the Atlantic (CoA), spoke with the Upper School Environmental Science class about his experience in choosing a college and why he chose to go to CoA in Bar Harbor Maine. 
On January 13, Darren Collins, President of the College of the Atlantic (CoA), spoke with the Upper School Environmental Science class about his experience in choosing a college and why he chose to go to CoA in Bar Harbor Maine. Then he spoke about his post-graduate experience working for the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF). While at the WWF, he worked in Mongolia on the conservation of a type of salmon. He also talked about CoA, which seeks out independent and curious thinkers. He said based on what his discussion today, it might be a good match for Friends Seminary students.
