Neil Blumenthal '98 will share the story of how a business model he designed while at Wharton Business School, and his work as director of the nonprofit VisionSpring, led to the founding of Warby Parker, a business venture with an "eye" for social responsibility.
Maggie Doyne, founder and Director of the Kopila Valley Children’s Home, the KV School, and Women’s Center, has won the 2013 Forbes Excellence in Education Award and DoSomething.org’s $100,000 Prize, and Fast Company named her part of its Change Generation. Peace Week participants will learn how this 26 year old is changing lives in Nepal and inspiring others to consider their own legacies for peace.

In addition to the evening program, Maggie will speak to the Middle School and Upper School on Wednesday, February 6, during Period 8.
Dr. Oliver Rothschild '98 will talk about how his organizations—Generation Rwanda and Kepler—are transforming higher education and raising up the leaders in Africa’s emerging information economy. The world has taken notice of their efforts to create a global network of universities that utilize massive open online courses (MOOCs) to help connect students to educational opportunities.

At the evening program, each changemaker will give an 18-minute-or-less presentation in TEDtalk fashion. Following their stories, the audience and guest speakers will participate in a Q&A session.
