US Students Attend Science Symposium

On Wednesday April 30, two of our Upper School freshmen, represented Friends Seminary at Dalton's 3rd Annual Interschool Science Symposium.
After a thoughtful guest lecture on research in the medical field, our School team participated in a scientific presentations session. The students, under the guidance of Hassan Wilson and Vanaja Zacharopoulos, investigated the purity of commercial caviar, looking for the possibility of adulteration by cheaper fish roe, by using DNA barcoding techniques. It was an excellent opportunity for the students to experience scientific presentations and research collaboration.
