"We prepare students to engage in the world that is and to help bring about a world that ought to be."

Thank you for your interest in Friends Seminary. Currently, our admissions process is virtual, but we are optimistic that as the year progresses, prospective families will be able to visit our campus. At Friends, Kindergarten and Grade 9 are key entry grades. Admissions for Grades 1-8 and 10-12 is dependent on attrition.

Given our mission-driven commitment to support an economically diverse student body, we dedicate significant financial resources to make Friends an affordable experience for all interested families. To learn more about Affordability and Financial Aid at Friends, please click here.

For parents who do not speak English as a primary language, we are happy to provide translators for Spanish, French, Mandarin, and Arabic speakers. Please contact the Admissions Office before the scheduled interview so that we can arrange for a translator.
It is each family’s responsibility to ensure that all application materials have been received by Friends Seminary. Ravenna allows families immediate access to the status of their application. No decision can be made by the Admissions Committee until an application is complete.

Friends Seminary actively promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism in all its programs and operations, including admissions, financial aid, hiring, and all facets of the educational experience. To form a community which strives to reflect the world’s diversity, we do not discriminate on the basis of race or color, religion, nationality, ethnicity, economic background, physical ability, sex, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation.
