  • African Drumming with Wula Drum

    Meetinghouse
In honor of Black History Month, all community members are cordially invited to an afternoon of celebrating African diasporic dance and culture. We will welcome guest performers and cultural educators from Wula Drum. According to the organization: "In West Africa, the Djembe drum is used to bring people together for many purposes: to communicate, celebrate and motivate. The Djembe, a cultural lineage that goes back hundreds of year, is for all humanity to experience. Through the Djembe, expression, mindfulness, and joy are cultivated." If you have any questions, please reach out to Jason Craige Harris, Director of Diversity and Inclusion.
