PA Speaker Series: Taking Care with Dr. Alan Schlecter

Zoom
Even during this difficult moment in our lives, many of us want our children to flourish as much as possible. Come learn about the current model of well-being (PERMA): Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment with Dr. Alan Schlechter, Friends parent of Maisie, Class of '26 and Marlowe, Class of '28.  He will discuss the relationship between our resilience and our well-being, including how much time we should be focusing on reducing our stress and how much energy we should direct towards promoting our strengths. If we want our kids to "be well", then we need to develop some "well-being" for ourselves.
