"We prepare students to engage in the world that is and to help bring about a world that ought to be."

Denman Tuzo

Faculty
Denman Tuzo was born and raised on Lenape land, hailing from what is now known as Greenwich Village in Manhattan. He attended Regis for high school and then went to Harvard for college, concentrating in English & American Literature & Language. He is currently studying at Union Theological Seminary for a Master of Arts in Social Justice. During the day his time is spent at our beloved Friends Seminary, where he serves as: Academic Center Director, a 12th Grade advisor, LitMag advisor, a Creative Writing teacher, a BIPOC student affinity group facilitator/DEB practitioner, and a meditation guide. As a Black mixed-race cisgender man, Denman is interested in a swift end to suffering and the liberation of all beings.
